New Reading Materials!
I am trying to get some amazing reading materials for my classroom! We were just trained on these Waseca reading materials and they really are wonderful. They are so much more than just reading materials! The set includes science related content through biome work. Right now Publix is offering
half off so we only needs $481. For the the next 7 days we can double
donations using the code SPARK during check out. This means we only need to raise $240! Don't forget to use the doubling code!

2015/2016 School Supply List
Because we have multiage classrooms, and this is the first year that all 2/3 classrooms are moving towards a 1/2/3 (ages 6-9) groupings, the ordering can be confusing. These lists were set up before the new groupings were decided upon.
If your child is entering my class in the 2015/2016 school year in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd please order the 2nd grade kit.

Research Project Presentations
Students will begin presenting their end of year research projects next week. Several students have expressed interest in their parents/family attending their presentations. Parents are more than welcome to attend presentations! Ask your child about what they wanted you to see: state, other, or both. Unfortunately, because we have twenty-nine presentations, I can not give exact times, but I did provide a window.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday May 18, 2015 8:00-10:00 (we will begin with state presentations and move into other research projects)
Tuesday May 19, 2015 12:45-1:45 (continue with state presentations if needed, then move into other research projects)
Wednesday May 20, 2015 8:00-? (Wednesday is tentative as it depends on the number of presentations we get through on the other two days)
